Evelyne Change

Ms. Evelynne Change is currently Chief Governance Officer at the African Development Bank,
Southern Africa Regional Business Delivery Office based in Pretoria, South Africa.
Prior to joining the Bank, Evelynne was Programme Management Specialist for the Regional
Governance Programme of the UNDP Regional Service Center for Eastern and Southern Africa.
From 2003-2011 she served as Coordinator for Corporate Governance, African Peer Review
Mechanism, NEPAD. She has also worked with the Economics and Trade Branch of the United
Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Geneva Switzerland.
Evelynne began her career in private legal practice in Kenya. She holds a Master of Laws degree
from Columbia Law School in New York, USA in addition to a Bachelor of Laws degree from
the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She is called to the Bar in the Republic of Kenya and the State
of New York.
In 2006/7 Ms. Change was an Emerging Leaders Fellow in the Programme run jointly by the
Centers of Public Values of the University of Cape Town, South Africa and Duke University,
USA. She has also been named Corporate Governance Global Rising Star (2009) by the
Millstein Center for Corporate Governance, Yale School of Management, USA.
